True that... but you can match it up damb near perfect with a Hifonics amp (just make sure it is over 1000rms).

They go together like a pair of "Butt Cheeks"....

Yeah it can.....push it to the point where JL doesn't have to worry about warrantying thier subs..... Push it to its limit? Hell no.

IF they were strappable and you ran 4 per woof (a strapped pair on each coil) then yeah.... But as far as I know (which when it comes to JL amps is nothing) jl amps are NOT strappable.

Just a side note...
I did a quick ball park estimate for Ground Shipping and it was about $70.00 to North Carolina from Cali. for 2 wood crates

Carefull what company you use..... I would do some research into this and have THEM pack the sub. If you don't, when the sub shows up broken (which is about 50% of the time with a sub that heavy) a claim will be filed and denied due to "insufficient packing."

Not a fun ordeal... I have a lot of experience in this department.

What's the warranty like on the sub? Is there one?
