I saw the barred midas pair on saturday. They are stunning. The coloration on the female is intense and the male's head looks like it's hiding a golf ball.

Thanks! They're doing great. I tried keeping them split in two different tanks but the male mota and female cuban didn't let the male settle in. I placed him in the other 100g with the female and various small cichlids. They barely notice each other. I love how they beg for food. Very healthy.
