Me and a couple buddies were movin it into my apartment so we had it on its side (front and back vertical) when we decided to set it down in the stand to rest. There was probably only 2-3 feet hanging off the stand and 6inches of the upper portion of the tank not supported as well. Thats how it happened, I dont know if the description of how the tank was seated is easy to picture.
