I'm trying to work something out. I'm just afraid of damage if I put him in my 265, and I know he would be damaged if I put him in my 300.

Are you worried about the other fish or the substrate?

Levi, unless you have spntered glass for a substrate he should be fine. I have used regular old $3/50lb bag of play sand from Wallyworld and kept several rays on it just fine, including young pups.

Off the top of my head I cant exactly remember what you have in the 265 but it should be fine. He would be an excellent addition for that tank! You better work something out before I buy something I cant afford!

It would look good in my 220, but I would have to try and get rid of all of my goldfish/koi that are in there now.
