The loach looks like a Syncrossus beauforti, which is a type of tiger loach. Not to sound rude, but is there any way that your loach is stressed out, cuz usually, they're a lot brighter in color.

hmmm ... not too sure if mine is stressed out.... cuz there seems like nothing that can bother him... hes the biggest in the tank, he got a lil bichir buddy, he got his lil hole to sleep in.... dont think hes stressed out in anyway... prolly just camoflaging to the sand mebe?
anyway, its healthy and eating ! and handsome looking too !!
