lol, yes, they are. take a few minutes to read the stickys at the top of this section of the forum and you'll see that they are in fact illegal in CA.

just because a fish store sells them doesn't mean they are legal. shipments are brought in everyday of illegal fish that get past customs. why is that so hard to believe?

or are you failing remedial reading and just like to post the same thing over and over again.

Hoplias Malabaricus (Common Wolf) are illegal in CA.
Erythrinus Erythrinus (Red Wolf) are legal in CA.
