he is the same ray. i guess it was just a phase that many fish go through when they are introduced into a new enviroment. he eats chopped up red worms, and frozen blood and blackworms. he is still a little on the thin side because it is kinda hard to get food down to him with the gar being in there. the gar will eat anything and the ray takes his time eating so he doesnt always win the race to the food. i am thinking of setting a tank up for just the ray. then it would free up my gar tank and it would be easier for the ray to fatten up.

I'm 30 minutes north of indy.....I could house him temporarily if you want to pick him up. If he's eating shrimp/krill/dead foods he'll be fine with my other 2 rays for a while.

Trust me, you don't want a ray from the fish stores around indy. I've never seen a healthy one. I got a good one in Marion, but I think that would be the closest place to get a good one.
Uncle bills: Skinny as hell (they even had a skinny motoro which you almost have to try to acheive)
The Reef: Skinny as hell
Some other that I can't remember the name of: skinny as hell.

Indy has not good pet shops in my opinion!!!!

When did you start feeding your ray frozen food? I asked what it was eating (And specifically asked about frozen food) and this is what you replied:

to be honest i have never offered frozen foods to him, but i feel pretty confident he would eat frozen bloodworms or blackworms. its up to you. if you are still interested let me know.

I hadn't thought of feeding him that until you mentioned it, so I went to PetSmart and picked up some frozen bloodworms and blackworms. Honestly at this point, it's not worth the hastle and loss of money, so I decided I'm going to just keep him since my new tank is coming early next month.

Ethics- if you still want to work something out, let me know through PM since we were in the middle of making arrangements. Other than that, this sale is closed because I've given everyone plenty of opportunity to jump on this for a good price. Thanks all who were interested.

Nope...one screen name

Yup, definitely keep him....It's too nice of a ray to just give away!! Glad you got it to eat the frozen goodies.
MIKE

thanks. it will be much easier to keep him in a few weeks because of my new tank comming so i was almost thinking of getting another ray eventually. not sure what kind yet though. thanks again for the interest.
