mmm it's kind of hard to tell because the colors look kind of washed out in the photo
i would almost hesitate to say that's a young male from initial looks at it... how big is it now?

Do you have any pics. of the female?Do they get along in the same tank and have they shown any breeding activities? What city in Socal are you in? I'm from H.B. but now in Portland but families driving up next week.
