Probably mistook it for a juranese false tig. They are of the cheaper end if the species type. Remember pet stores need to make profit. If it really is a tig they are probably losing money or not making at all.

possibly, cause friend and I was shock when we saw it but didnt have the space for it. it was label tigrinus catfish -180.00 but i understand you point it could be a false as it could fall under that labeling as well. lol.

Pics of this tig? And were is it? If it's within 3hrs one way I'll be there to buy it. If I was uou I would by it and post it on here lol you could make a killing. Someone deff f***** on that price I bought my tig straight from a dealer for that fish place and it still set me back 250$ for a 6".
