As those pics are old, I was wondering how big was it now, dunno what their growth rate is like.

by the way I'm a girl thank you.. also why would you band me just because of a mistake i made? what you dont make mistakes EVER? **** it I'm out... this forum sucks anyways.. but i guess this is what i get for talking to 14 year olds that live in their granny's basement and have nothing else better to then to pretend that being a mod is an actual job...

Ok bye bye dont let the door hit you on the way out !

Charlet, don't let the others force you to leave the forum. If kept improperly, albeit varanids are extremely hardy, they do have short life span. That's the only reason why they are getting on your back.

Noone is forcing her out. Shes making a rash decision because people are concerned about the way she is keeping her water monitor.

That's true. However you know how people perceive things. Like large_cichlids and a couple of other users thought we were forcing him to leave the forum, when we were not.

I bet that made you feel good about yourself!!!

more importantly - the animal is now up for sale - lets get some photos of the animal outside of it's enclosure, body shots, head shots etc etc. Lets see it walking around.

how big is it? Any potential buyers needs to know size of animal - sex would help also, although if it is still small then it may be difficult to tell. But male salvator get a lot bigger than females - this can be a deciding factor.

It looks underweight (I hate to say poor condition) in the attached pic - if the housing issue has been rectified maybe the animal is in better condition - lets see it now. Good photos will help the sale and give people confidence that the animal is worth buying. If you cannot sex it yourself then photos of the head profile and dorsal view, cloaca and base of the tail will help.

I mentioned in another recent post that you very seldom see large salvators around - I wonder why ?

Wow. Just...wow. I can't imagine that poor sal's belly, on lava rocks. Ugh. Maybe a good idea to spend a little more time researching a proper enclosure for the monitor and a bit less time trying to get it in a harness, baby bonnet, whatever. Just my $0.02.

That's what I was thinking.. imagine how hot..sharp edges..

Your posting pictures in public so of course alot of people will see it and get concerned.

Everyone makes mistakes, but owning up to those mistakes/willingness to correct is what tells people what kind of person you are. ;)
