The only thing with the 14+ inches, they're pretty big already, don't know if they'll be able to be trained to start feeding. A friend caught a 15+ incher, large mouth bass and kept it but almost starved to death, it wouldn't eat anything. He let it go. GL to those stripes you got.

im am and a habitual fisherman when i can... and like i said there is NO limit on stripers in california... and as far as 4 pounds weight are we talknig nets,, cuz if thats was the case i wouldnt have just TWO... what kind of finshing pole are YOU using...lmao... i use 6 to 12 pound TEST and a 4ounce weight!!! lmao.... snagging come onn guy... wheres the fun there!!! neways i will post pics soon and it will perfectly show you how healthy they are because they were properly caught!!

so back from all the derailment... and make me an OFFER & pls be resonable!!! i was reading earlier comments about what they eat.... its everything and anything.....;) no need to worry about training!!!
 
See what you started mjuniorc? Now norcal and socal are going at it. And LOL on the weight of the sinker. I was thinking the same thing,............ 4 pounds??!!

Where'd you harvest them at? Aren't you in Temecula? I know Silverwood Lake has them, where'd you go?

dont know if you are referring to me.... but if you are.... im not a kid and i can read... the question really is do you undertand!! fishing regulations and know your whereabouts of california.....?:ROFL:
 
Man, I gotta see pics,.......... they eat anything?? That's tight. They could be hybrids like JD7.62 says but I doubt white bass. They're not native unless transfered illegally. At least that's what I thought.
