you think so? all that spangles is a sure sign of a male. my males' color get that intense only when they r breeding, that's why I said yours has a brilliant color for one that's not breeding

Look at the dorsal, half is solid black. The only possibility of it being a male is if that fish is in full breeding dress, which it isn't because its not spawning lol.

The picture is kind of deceiving with the decoration in the background. It makes the dorsal fin look darker than it is.

i like my loaches too much to sell them. The only thing I'm trying to get rid of is my synodontis catfish. I have another posting for it. It has one funky barbel.
