Do you find that their behavior differs with the added above plant coverage?
Sometimes I get the impression that they like to hang out below the floating plants more than on the clearer bits (I scoop 3/4 of the water surface free every 2 weeks), but sometimes they don't seem to care. I would say it is defenatly helping them feel more secure, but not necessary for them to feel secure. Lightning (dim) and lots of wood also matter a great deal. They love to explore every little corner of the tank looking for left over live food.

love those pleuros!! are they aggressive?
Thanks! Sometimes they are, let's say they have there periods. They can really make life hard for each other or the panaque, there strike is impressive and scary (I don't stick my hand in if at all if they have there agressive period), but there mostly really relaxed and interactive in a positive friendly way.

What are those floating plants you are using? They look good. And i cant get over the L27, its out of this world!

looks like hydrilla and duckweed, correct me if i'm wrong
Thanks again Tom

It is indeed duckweed, but the other plants are fake. The panaque constantly destroys real plants.

stunning pair koen and the panaque is top class.
Thanks marvin, if I had more time I would def. also have a mixed set-up like yours, I absolutely adore your tanks

But this is low maintenance and suits this period in my life best.
Btw still jealous about your blue eye panaque!

Love the SHs, but the L27 takes the cake. It's head looks like its the size of a softball!
Thanks

Panaque's are my favourite fish species and I feel lucky owning this one!
