Here's a couple pics of my Fugu Puffer. I've had him for a few months now and he seems to be doing pretty well.

Post pics of yours if you have one. I wanna see.

simply stunning! where did you get him? how much?

I got him at my lfs. They got a bunch of them in and were selling them for 8 bucks a pop. He's probably doubled in size since I got him.

can you get closer shots?

I kinda won't be posting more pics. knocked the camera over and knocked the lens off track. No focus or zoom. Think I'm gonna have to bring it to the repair shop. There's a little bit of salt in the water Parasite Paradise, but I don't think it would qualify as brackish.

Beautiful fish! You need aragonite sand in there for him to burrow & he should be in high-end BW to marine. Also, they prefer being in water about 70 degrees. If this doesn't happen, you will find a dead puffer in a few months.

I've been keeping it between 68 and 72. Can you change out the rocks with sand once a tank is set up? He burrows in the rocks, and I know that's not good for his skin, but I'm scared to try changing them out and putting sand in at this stage in the game. There's salt in the water, but how much would you put in a 12 gallon tank? It's not enough to even qualify as brackish I don't think. Also, do you know how big fugu can get? My lfs said about the size of one of those fat Gatorade bottles, but they also told me to keep the water around 80 degrees.
