brokos are now on cichlid gold :D let the power feeding begin :headbang2

Now to get the bahia onto pellets. Should've been easier considering the brokos were on live....

Nice! How long did it take? Cause I ran out of feeders now for my broko's and I'm gonna put them on cichlid gold as well..

I'll only tell you if you give me that fish in your new avatar! HAWT!

It took less than a week. I stuck a few smaller cichla in there and they were hammering the pellets. the smaller broko followed suit shortly and today the big one gave in too. took less than a week :D

at first they'd only take it as a reaction bite (if you're not a bass angler, its when they don't know what it is but just bite it as it comes close to them). So i'd toss the pellets one by one near their face. now the little one will eat them floating but the big guy still requires a little more attention when feeding.

Man you guys i missed the boat on these I hope a few more come around!the Bahia!!

I did the same myself, on adding some other small cichla in there with them so they try to catch on with the pellets.. but first I need to get the other cichla on pellets .. thanks again for the tip bro

NP! it's what forums are for!

So I just noticed something. Is there anyone else on the east coast that has bahia?

Why didn't you East Coast guys buy the pellet trained ones from Wes? It's only a few dollars more. We all got them. j/k
