OK ILL PLAY.
THIS IS A 100 GALLON WITH A SUMP AND TWO H.O.B'S. THE CHICHLIDS REALLY NEED TO GROW INTO IT MORE. BUT I HAVE 3 IN THERE, ALL ABOUT 3 INCHES. I ALSO HAVE TWO TURTLES IN IT. SORRY ABOUT THE TERRIBLE QUALITY.
I HOPE YOU LIKE IT:naughty:

All these tanks look great, I have a question tho, I see alot of driftwood in many of the african cichlid tanks, is that "ok"? because I have a huge piece of driftwood from an old tank that I would love to put into my 125 african tank that I just transfered from a 55 but the wood drastically lowered the ph in the last tank wont that cause problems in the brackish water? I do have "live" sand and a few pieces of coral to keep the ph up where it should be, but I didnt even think putting in the wood was an option.
thoughts........

Nice Blue..

Hey nyinfamous2k2 you can add wood to a African setup just make sure it still isn't leaching tannins to discolor the water and maintain weekly water changes maybe add more reef base rock and or any hardness buffering objects / decor to help aid the chemistry..

Thanks because a I have a really nice big piece of drift wood that I used to have in my oscar tank, But I recently transformed that tank it into a african tank and I dont want to mess up the water levels at all because so far everything is going pretty good. I know that when I had that wood in my oscar tank it drastically lowered the ph I mean big time to where I thought it was going to cause problems but the fish adjusted so I left it. My tank is a 125g and I have live sand a fist sized piece of coral and a filter bag of crushed coral in it to regulate ph. Im planning on stocking it with lace rock, do you think that will be enough to keep the ph up for that wood.

Thank
