I understand everyone has an opinion about overstocking, but we have to remember it's exactly that an opinion. Since fish don't speak we can't tell if they're happy, we can only assume. We should all remember what are mommy's said though about assuming. lol! ;) With that said Nice stock, bro. Did you raise all those big boys in there yourself? I'm wondering cause I personally have no patience and seem to always be changing up my stock only carrying over a few of my fav's each time. Must take alot of patience and a ridiculous food bill. I'm hoping to settle on a stock list some day and growing them out to monster sizes. I just haven't found that right combination just yet. :D

Some of them I raised myself since they were 2-6 inches. Some are wild caught that came in big already and only grew a few inches.
 
i like it a lot but only thing is keep eye on the lung that appears to be a WAL. SAL or AUL would be a great swap for it tho and carry half the risk of it going nutts n killing off your stock one day...

Lol! Yes that's a WAL and I have two of them in there at 28" and been in that tank for a long time now sin e it was only 6". As for a SAL or an AUL, I have 2 AULs in there as well as a SAL. I'm the only one here in MFK that is known to mix lungfish.
 
ha ive been there and done it n even my 24" wal turned, its crazy to me to think of that cos mine always took worse to a overstock than under stocked tank. but even fully mature they can go pyscho with out any warning! least it anit MAL i geuss! lol

Well I'm actually adding more lungfish in my tank. I'm growing up a dolloi and PAC. Soon will be added here.
 
What ok the WAL is a risk butthe dolloi and MAL will mash up tank mates, ive never hear of dolloi or mal lasting over a yr of age in com with out goin mental... GOOD LUCK!
