Earl your tank looks awesome and the fish are way cool. I can understand the overstocking theory from owning African Chiclids. Never had any experience with the guys you care for. But I hope the theory is simuliar. So keep up the good work and forget those that do NOT know better. From the look of your fish you know how to care for them.

Congrats on the great fish and Tank!!

Thanks! I actually learned to do this by watching and observing african cichlid. I too used to have african cichlid tank. Did the same theory with SA/CA cichlids and same result. So I pushed even futher and try with even more daring fish and guest what, same result. Not many knows this as they don't want to risk. I actually see more death in a predatory tank that only have a few stocks as they ended up with a selected target and kill the weakling. Not many accept this setup except If they are african cichlids. Since they are variety of monster fishes, those would be expert will always have opinion. They did not even try the set up themselves and they think they know everything.

I am a member on a few sites and it does not matter which forum your talk on there will me some that agree with your techniques and others that do NOT. So if your happy and it works, the fish are healthy then I am all for it.

Besides, Just look at your pics and that is enough proof you know exactly what your doing. All fish look happy and healthy........What more needs said!!

Thanks for the support

Yes it's overstock as that's is what supposed to be.

Fish are "supposed" to only be able to swim a few inches before running into another fish. That's not stressful to a large predatory fish at all......:duh:

I'm guessing you have the water level so low to try to prevent them from jumping out of this hell hole you have them living in? Or is it that you are trying to give them even less space to swim so that you can enjoy them bumping into each other all day long?

I disagree ^. They don't look stressed out in the pix.

Lol!! My tank water level is too low? The tank is 30" tall and I the water is 25" deep. That's an average for many tank below 400g. Fish will tend to jump out of the tank if the water is too low if you do not know that especially arowanas.
