@ EVP; Not really, they attacked it pretty fast..think 1 week starvation max. I just threw pieces of smelt in the current (a lot of current actually).

I know that was first thing I noticed they are monsters. At pet store they are 1 to 3 inches max knew they got bigger but not like that .
 
Took me a long time to get a few this big :) But worth it.
