I love the tank and the fish look awesome. I'm wondering how do you manage the nitrates in that tank. Surely they must be sky high with that many fish in there.

I have a 180g with 7 cichla 12-16" in there and a 16" leiarius marmoratus. I have to do a 50% water change three times a week to keep the nitrates low.

Water params here are in good condition. Maintaining them is my secret. lol! Nah.... Just regula water changes every week. Sump always gets vacuum whenever I see gunk and **** or the pads are always changes once it almost all brown with gunk.

His color changes depend on what mod his at. Will turn dark blue most of the time when his happy and just calm. When into berserk mode, his eyes turns to bright red. It also shows the stripes and some golden patches and the belly turns white.
