Nice tank!

Otos may be better at dealing with diatoms. Also if you keep up the water changes and scrub the tank, distoms to disappear after a while.

If would be so cool if you could make a java moss wall in that tank

Thanks Peter Yeah a moss wall would look awesome... now I just have to find the money to buy 1,000 portions of moss to cover the whole back of the tank Lol, I can dream though. I thought about doing a 3D background but unfortunately the tank was already up and running when I thought of it, and I am way to lazy to break down a whole tank just to add a background

Here's a pic of my tank of "mini-monsters" aka apistogramma macmasteri and von rio tetras. I'm still working on the light levels and have been fighting algae, but the plants are doing okay so far.

I like the set up it looks great, but is it too much wood for large fish to swim around?
