Fully aquatic critters?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I was thinking about getting an axolotl because I can get them at my LFS for like $20 or something like that. I was also thinking about starting a colony of paddle tail newts. Any info on any of these animals that were mentioned in the thread would be great. Can't find a whole lot on the net. Oh and IDK why I don't want a fish....I just want something new I guess.

I would try mudskippers they would look really cool in there even though they are fish and do need land.

Wow I never even thought about those. I could get them at my LFS. Hmmm very tempting.

isnt mudskipper (those brown thing with those red external gills) are native to North America? (I know I can find them in the wild in Canada) So... isnt it illegal for a store to sell a native specie? and I know that they cant sell it at store here ^^

mudskippers need a platform!
or would atleast want one because they often climb out of the water!!

I know. I said I could maybe do a platform and with mudskippers I would just set up like a whole beach like tank for them. Not even bother with a platform.

Sorry, my mistake, i thought you said mudpuppy...and i was thinking how you gonna keep a mudpuppy in a 29G tank, its way too small ><;;;
