I was going to try terramycin or tetracycline...but wasn't sure if its safe to use on turts...

Been using it since it was suggested to me, something like 12 years ago........Tetracycline hasn't done anything for me though.......

Try offering tinned tunafish, it has a strong odour that can entice them to eat. Only put in a small amount at a time though, it'll foul the water pretty quick.
