fungus on aro head.

Does anyone know what this is? It looks like some kind of fungus. He's normal eating and swimming fine. I've tested water parameter yesterday:

nitrate 0 ( yes believe it or not ) tap is 40ppm
nitrite 0
Ammonia 0
PH 7.4

i have done water change in two week. fish load consist of 8 blood parrot, 3 bichir, and aro. tank is 500g. Picture not go great. Can't get him to stay still.

84degrees n a lil tonic salt.... pics are fuzzy as hell tho...

I've added salt and temp hover around 84-86. It's been like this for a week now. Doesn't look like it's spreading.

What type of filtration do you have that you have 0 nitrates in an established tank ?
