Don't skimp on your filter maintenance. You could dose with salt and keep water in pristine conditions with consistent proper water changes.

Agreed. When I had my Oscar salt always worked for fugus.

Could be fungus. Treat with api fungus cure. Dose salt at a 1 tsp per g. Check ur water parameters.
