I've noticed a few fuzzy white bumps on my sliver's tail and body. What could it be and what can I treat it with?

I'll try to get some pix, but in the mean time, have you seen anything like it?
(water tests fine, and his appetite and behavior is normal)

Thanks in advance. I've had a bad streak with fish recently, so I'm counting on MFK to help me end it. Thanks in advance guys and gals.

Ummm hope its not related to what happened to your ray.

Have you called the water company to ask if they heavily treated the water more than usual for anything that your filters wouldnt catch?

This has been going on (very lightly) for a few weeks, and the aro is the only fish with it. I'll call them tomorrow to see if anything has changed, but as of now I'm not going to relate it to the ray death, because the ray, physically, was visually perfect.

How long was the dead ray in your tank? Perhaps its death and decay changed the water chem in the tank?

Different tank, but he was in the tank less than 8 hours. He was alive when I left for work, and dead when I got home.

A coarse of salt and increase the temperature to 32°C to 34°C also Increase oxygen content in the tank this is a standard fix for Arow Scales Disease.

i keep my one just with a knife fish now as he is doing so much better the big change i made was i now have the water at a pH of 6.5 Soft water is also recommended over hard for them, thats why i asked about the tap water.

thread of moderators....hehe. :)
