People around here tend to have storage space of some type, a garage, shed, barn, spare bedroom - you see ad after ad renewing on CL for the same price week after week and if you try to barter with them it usually becomes, "well, I have someone coming tomorrow that will give me full price. I won't hold it but if you want it you should come today at full price." Or it's someoen that tells you how bad off they are but if they can't sell it for what they want they will just put it in the (name a location) until it sells.
