funny fish names?

Almost sounds like something you would yell out when someone cuts you off on the road. "You Monkeyface prickleback!"

Spotted dick wrasse is funny. I think the Slippery Dick wrasse punches the funny meter up a notch. And I'm assuming the adult length is eventual and not occassional.

Then there's the dickfish, a freshwater livebearer. I've also found the pollock to have an amusing name.

there is a saltwater coral we used to have called a 'shaving brush'

you have no idea how many customers would casually refer to it as 'shaving bush' and not even bat an eyelid LOL
