Very nice ..I like the blue on it ..it looks almost like mine but smaller ..they are very smart fish one of my favorites

He is a little over 6" but at the rate he is eating his high protein sticks, im sure he will be putting on mass soon.

I definitely think the Jag is much more like RTM, Loiselles and Freddies compared to the Dovii which has more of a snout and longer body.

He actually disturbs (glass bangs) so much that the light stresses him out when on for too long, and it seems that I can't capture his blues too well on camera with the lights on, or the picture simply doesn't do him much justice...

YFS high protein carnivore sticks and FD krill. He eats in bulk, and being a hardy fish I have no worries in feeding him as so
You can see in that pic compared to my original post that he has gotten thicker and is putting on mass fairly quick
However it doesn't come down to his diet alone, he is an F1 w/ presumably good genetics and I perform weekly water changes and excellent filtration/oxygenation as well as add liquid pro-biotics to the tank as a digestive-aid and assist in disease prevention.
May seem as over-kill to some, but it has been working for me not just with this dovii but previous "potentially-big" cichlids I have owned such as the Rio-Mag or my butti.
