Your discus are beautiful. If you dig up some of the old Wattley discus books or articles from the "Ask Jack" section of TFH, you can find some great information about growth rates, feedings and water changes.

The bottom line is that water changes are the key to growth.

W/E are the most and then it is a good diverse food! with a good staple!

Yes... 10 INCHES!! :D :D

Now I'm not saying these will be 10 in but they certainly have the potential to do that. I would post some of Wayne Ng's adult BK's but they're not my pics..

These fellas get daily 50% WCs. They are fed 5 times a day. Dry food is Sera discus granuals and tetra cichlid granaul. I also throw in some Frozen Blood worms and my home made BH.

Thanks everyone for your kind words.

Most any of the domestic discus can grow to very large sizes provided they receive absolutel perfect conditons, diet, generous allotment of space and about eight years.
It is highly unlikely any first timer will accomplish that and shoud be happy to grow discus to seven inche SL(Not counting tail)
There is always a great deal of experience behind the person who grow a discus to a size exceeding seven inches.
So says one who has been raising discus since 1969.

I agree with you Apisto.. I'm hoping for dumb luck. I'd certainly be happy with 7" SL.. But I would be disappointed if I couldn't get them to 10". What ever they turn out to be, I want to make sure they're happy and healthy.
