Future monster pleco comtank

I'm not a fan of your filtration but it could work. Whichever cactus pleco you decide may be a menace to the smaller, more docile fish on your list, but other than that...go for it.

Interesting.... I do literally 90% water changes on all tanks including plecos and haven't had any issues with any fish whatsoever..... although I am very careful matching temp as to not shock any fish....

Yes Vic is the Godfather of plecos!!! Glad I have several of his old pieces!!

Sometimes mine gets a 90% too when I sleep some on the siphon a bit. Nothing ever goes wrong in these times. I've realized in the last year, I can even skip my prime dosage with big wc's & everything works out. We may be in the minority & very lucky to be able to do such monster wc's & get away with it

With that many plecos I would stay away from ac's. I use to run them on my tank when I had less stock then I do now and the sponge would get clogged making it rise and well leaning a mess on the floor. That's why I jumped to a canister which I feel isn't enough at times. Oh and I agree with snook when it comes to cactus plecos.
