you will get it if the wood are new. take it out and wipe it off now and then. after months in your tank it will goes away and not coming back. or you could put a flag tail in there and it will eat it.

now that is good news.. i had flagtails before but never got them to eat. maybe if i get one that is big enough to hang with the cichla it'll be ok?

it's not new driftwood.. well, the manzanita on the bottom is new, the stuff holding it down is pre-sunk driftwood from another tank.
