Holy thread derail.... Should I begin treating with something at this stage or just keep up with the water changes?
sorry bruh, we call that a "weekend" LOL

As usual, Pops already had the answer early in the thread.....we just kinda goofed off afterwards and talked random since he aces the hole almost everytime he replies to something. Your answer is on page 1-2, sorry Bro....Pops is just fun to talk with even after thread has been answered lol Us old folk like to carry-on conversations longer than need be lol ;)

Oh the part where he said screw it your fish is dead? This is a large mature male GT that I paid a good amount of money for so I don't see that as a reasonable answer.

****, did I respond to thewrongthread again?....
would appear not. Your answer is on page 2. Sorry we tend to lose focus so we tend to get side-tracked here and there.

I'm so sorry for your loss. Us old people like to chat about the little things that don't matter to anyone else lol. Sorry for that. We're old.

I am sorry JB if I came across as screw it the fish dead, I was only speaking about my experience with new fish.
again I would try treating the tank with paraguard, and methlylene blue baths, do not use the MB in the tank itself as it is a broad spectrum antibiotic and will dmg your bio filter, the paraguard will not hurt your bio filter. and yes I do a water change now and start the treatment.

Thanks I'll check the LFS for these today. Is it possible that these poops are just molding up from getting caught in the pre filter? I haven't actually seen him poop yet.
