FW bumblebee grouper - In tank shots

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Thanks!

I'd like to note that this is not a discussion thread. If you own one of these, fresh or salt water, feel free to post up a pic then state your opinion. If you have no experience with this fish, your statements are irrelevant.
My pH is high at 7.4-7.6.

Awesome fish. Glad to see he stayed in the tristate! Ever thought about adding a thin layer of substrate? I've kept tons of shy and skittish fish and, time and time again, when switching from bare bottom to gravel/sand, the response was amazing. The less sides the fish has to worry about a predator coming in, the better.

BTW you've been going nuts lately picking up fish. I gotta see your collection in person one of these days :)

Nice fish. Think he might like a cave though, if you don't already have one. Good luck raising one in fw. :)
Thanks! I'll add a cave tonight.

why post if you dont want opinions?

its a nice fish, but it should have a marine setup.
This is the PHOTO LOUNGE, not general aquaria discussion! Post a pic of your fish, then state your opinion. I posted so the many wonderful members of this site can see my fish, and make comments on it. However, those comments are limited. Telling me how to keep a fish, or what it deserves is derailment. Small tips, suggestions, what has worked in the past, sure, I'm learning every day and love getting those type of responses! Stop by, test my water, look at my fish, then tell me it isn't happy.

Thanks Mike! I have crushed coral in the filters, and in a bag inside the tank. I'll take the bag out and spread out the coral, hopefully he'll like it.
You can stop by anytime. PM me if you'll ever be in the area.
