Like I said in my other thread-appreciate the concern, but I know all this already. Others before me have raised these fish to very large sizes, in FW.

Yes but thats like me takin u and puttin u on the sun its like earth but much hotter. U took a salt water fish made for salt water. And moved him to fresh its a big difference and just isnt a good thing to do

is the fish still alive? or maybe the guy isn't active on MFK anymore?

Except for they can live for at least awhile in FW. Last I checked, people can't live on the sun for any amount of time.
Kind of beating a dead horse here though, in case none of you noticed how old the thread is.

Nah, he's still on MFK.

i have a 14" bumble bee grouper in a 500 gallon and he has a monstrous apetite. he has eaten a 7" inch parrot fish, 7" hawaiian blue spot grouper, and a 7" blue line trigger. he is fed well daily; and i mean well, but he still likes to dominate his surroundings but eating the smaller fish. its in his nature.

I originally wrote a whole essay in response but I figure some people are just anal so my only comment is....Beautiful fish and can't wait to see it get bigger and can't wait to get one when I move to a bigger house so I can accomidate a tremendously monster tank. Like an Indoor Lake...lol....But in anycase awesome. :)
