I always thought you needed two to tango. I thought they made both male and female gametes, but that they could not fertilize their own eggs. I could be wrong.

The clam fry attach to gills..It causes irritation, and in some cases, infection. I am not sure how to treat. I just treat FW clams as a species only kind of specimen. Loaches love them

Why try it? You want to see sings of damage before you remove the clam? Do all of that at your own risk.
