1. is it concidered a monster 2.min size tank
 
nvm an monsters that will fit in my 10 gal (limited on tanks)
 
plus its not true fresh its a brackish
 
yes then it grows and needs a tank more than 10 gallons and needs salt water
 
oh ya they get like 24 inches i dont know tank size im gussing a 20 to 40 gallon should be good. but like i said if cept in fresh they will die

mine has lived in fresh the whole time i have had him and he eats like a pig and has grown substatially since i got him.


BUT i have heard that they do better in brackish water

how long have you had him in fresh? i always wanted one but never got one because i thought they absolutely had to be in brackish water.
