I have an arrowhead and while i think they are really cool they are not very active. I also have a Fahaka and I would suggest getting a tank big enough for him if that is an option, they great fish

the leiurus group of puffers might be a good avenue to investigate. They get to a decent size and are faily active. the hairy puffer is also a really fun one to keep - they're pretty active.
