  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
^ Oops can't believe i missed that... my bad, i think i'm losing my mind from the heat wave in HK :nilly:

So with that being said, let me try again... 1M - 3F ratio to make up 4 puffs in total... did i do better this time PP??? :grinyes:

Your math skills are improving. :)

Woo Hoo :headbang2

But back on topic, so to the OP, have you decided what you want to do yet???

Think I'm goin dwarf puffers! woooooooo

I gotta move my fish in my 20 to a 40, then it's on!

Maybe in the next week or two...

Thats a good choice for that size tank... i'm pretty sure your going to enjoy having a bunch of them coming to the front of the tank begging for food during feeding time...

Thats funny that they only come in winter??? i thought they came in all year round... but maybe thats only in Hong Kong...

The kid I talked to said "the breeders are busy breeding them right now, and probably won't be available until winter..."

I was WTF? OK... Maybe I will check other local stores in the area.

They have like 7 other species of puffers available... I emailed them today to see if they could send me a list. They even have a big mbu for sale (not interested personally though!).

Maybe I should start a new topic when I get the list?

Any idea what some of the other puffers on the list are, or do you have to wait till they send you the list before you'll know???

But i guess its not totally impossible they are waiting for their breeders to have a supply of Dwarfs available...

I know you wanted dwarfs, and dwarfs are lovely....but I think you would be happier with one medium sized puff...I have dwarfs, and to be honest my medium sized puffs are a little bit cooler..SHHHH don't tell my dwarfs!

If you want an active puffer for your 20

you could do

http://www.**************.com/forum/ug.php/v/PufferPedia/Freshwater/A_silus/

or a little less active but still fun
http://www.**************.com/forum/ug.php/v/PufferPedia/Freshwater/T_Turgidus/

or pretty un-active but cute as a button
http://www.**************.com/forum/ug.php/v/PufferPedia/Freshwater/T_Miurius/

or if you are willing to do light brackish
http://www.**************.com/forum/ug.php/v/PufferPedia/Brackish/T_Biocellatus/

These that I mention are fairly popular within the trade and at least one of them should be on that list
