FW ray with parrots and Severum?

Very true. You could keep parrots and severums with rays but keep in mind they will eat ray food specifically nightcrawlers. So make sure you feed enough for everyone. Parrots shouldn't be kept in pairs. IME they tend to go at it. Severums I kept in pairs with no problems.
 
I've got a pair of 5-6" gold severums in with my rays. The severums don't bother the rays at all.
 
I put my parrot fish back in my main tank now.. he is very very busy fighting with my big datnoid for some reason.. we will see how things turn out.
 
I have two parrots with my ray, and 2 gold severums, and a green severum with the ray as well. No problems. I only have problems because the parrots are pigs! So the ray has to be hand fed. Don't know if I would have mixed these kind of fish together, but they came with the tank I had bought,, and they get along get.

some cichlids yes, some cichlids no. My geophagus sift thru sand and never bite my rays eyes. My Dicrozoster occasional follows my rays tail, and nips it. Never causing any damage, and the ray acts as if it never felt a thing.

Id be more worried about the ray eating the other fish.
