thanks for all the sound advice guys but im in no rush to get one, just future plan for a bigger tank. Will continue to look for a good deal, if can't find one. I have no problem buying it new.

Hey bro sorry about being an ass yesterday. I was just upset because I had to deal with a stupid buyer yesterday. APOLOGIZE !! Anyways, I just want to let you know a Fx5 online selling for about $250 + Tax + Shipping with NO MEDIA, NO extra long tubes. Media and those extra accessories will cost you another $100-$150. So normally everything + shipping will be around $400 for a brand new one. But we never know, sometimes people throws away their stuffs at a dreaming price but of course it is very rare.

I hope you did not pay that price.. I got all 3 of my FX5's brand new with media and everythign you listed for $220-240ea.

BTW, used FX5's are going for $150-$180.

yes thats why I'm selling mine for $180 with full carbon media and extra long tubes. Oh forgot to ask, for about $220-240 like you said, did you really get good FLUVAL Media or just the cheapy regular media ??? If it is good media, where did you get them? I might want to buy some and resell them again since I know so many people would love to pay for that price or even little bit higher.
