FX5 crapped out help!

This seems like a new problem. Have never heard of this before.

Same thing happened to one of my FX5s today. Came home and my 100g tank was silent and still. Followed the info on this site and now as good as new. It makes me nervous, though, as I'm getting ready to go out of town for a week. I don't want this to happen while I'm away!

Doesn't sound like this problem at all. Doesn't sound like a problem at all. You probubly came home during the 24hr, 2 min shut off purge time. If you just let it sit, it would have come back on.

I walk in my room sometimes and hear silence from the fx5, after a minute or two, its back on.
