fx5 fasteners

well, didnt really pay for it actually.... basically i traded a old amp that didnt even work anymore which he was informed but didnt seem to phase him so ya... lol
 
well $80 isnt that bad then for an fx5. i see people selling them used for around $200 still.
 
yea true, but i also have to put all the media into it as well, which i planned on rpelacing the media and such in my fx5 i already have up and running ...
 
i wrapped the broken end in duct tape, so far so good. Would really like to find those little orange pieces in a a stainless steel...
 
Silly question but cant u just take four good ones of ur already running one and put them on the crappy one. And have four good n four broken on both filters or will it leak

thats what id like to do, ive thought about getting some steel brake line the size of the orange plastic peice, and cutting them in the length of the orange peices and then driling a hole in them thats the same size as the bolt stem..... im not sure if they have brake line that size tho...they would never break or wear out ....
 
Maybe PM these guys, CWO4gunner or Jgray152. Both have done a lot of mods on the FX5 and I thought one of them made some replacement pieces for the lid latches.

so i did a search and found CWO4gunner but he hasnt been active since oct 25th of last year and i could not find a Jgray152 ?
