FX5 leaking!!!

Update:

I just unscrewed the motor and I think I know what is the problem is.

FML! The O-ring broke. I guess im gonna have to buy another one.

Because there are 2 seals when I unscrew. And Im not sure how to place them back. One goes on the impeller, and the other goes directly at the canister hole, is that right?

The seal that is broken is the one from the impeller, i don't think its the same as the one directly attach to the hole in the canister as that one seems bigger. Im just not sure where the o-rings are suppose to go. The manuel tells me nothing...

I can't remember how it goes back together.

That's odd how that broke. I can only guess that it was installation error when it was being assembled or defective oring from the start.

I had the same thing happen to me. I had a slow leak where the pump meets the cannister, the took the filter back to petco for a full refund and ordered another one.
