fx5 micro bubbles, noise, final solution

If you want to test it, Just put the tube, purge the filter, wait 23 hours before the filter stop. Stop the filter, and lets see if you have the same amount of air inside the filter that will purge. If you have same, well, it is not working, if not, and you have less or none, well it is working
If the system create 1 bubbles in a minute, and the mod can remove 1.5 (theory), how many time it's will take to remove half the tank of air???
23 hours 1,380 minutes or bubbles,, mod 2,070, total over 690 bubbles in 23 hours
Now how much is half the tank in air bubbles..... its will take days or weeks to remove all this, if the filter does not stop to purge.
But this is only theory. But for me it is working.

Good theory thinking :) I like the way you think.

For me, I could hear the water flowing through the purge tube and into the inside of the canister.

Mine was setup like yours except I remove the stiff purge tube and replaced it with a poly tube of the same OD just a longer length so it could extend into the output tube.

Maybe I will play with this a bit more... see what results I get.

This is the difference, you remove the stiff purge tube. I did not remove the stiff tube, just push the silicon tube inside the end of the stiff tube. You can see it on the picture.

Doesn't "make" a difference though. It could be the length of the tube in the output
