FX5 noisy as h..

Hagen has good warranty. I believe you send them the motor they send you a new one. Give em a call.
 
id take it all apart an clean it all. put back together an run it. had this happen with another canister. but so far no problems with my fx5. usualy its do to the impeller, maybe a rock or pice of carbon get in there.

I have taken it all apart again, and found no apparent flaws. I will contact the vendor i bought it from, and ask him if he can send it back or something.
 
the vendor with just refer you to the manufacturer. dont waste your time.
 
What sound is it making?
 
Mine ground down the impeller guides (3plastic moulded rings) on the canister side which made it vibrate
