Ebay, the seller is http://myworld.ebay.com/mickydonald12/

Find one where you can do "best offer" and offer $160, It will accept it immediately.
Getting another. My dog and cat are going to think I am insane with all these big filter boxes stacked in the living room awaiting their 8-9X4 tank

You can never have too much filtration, go for it

I wonder if you'll get hit with duty charges on that though? And over $80 for shipping!

I likely would, but i'm getting it shipped to a UPS customer pick up center in Port Huron, Michigan that's about 20 minutes from my house. Probably won't have to pay duty, since they usually let me get through with less than $200 duty free.

I think the opposite, although more filtration can be good, usually the more filtration, the more water current in the tank, and the more your fish are swimming because they have to and not because the want to.

They are buy it now for $340, but he will accept $160 as an offer? If its true, thats awesome.

due to my irrational fear of dirty water, I think I'll buy 3 for my 29.

That's a great deal on the Fx5. It's an awesome filter. I don't know that I would put it on a 29 though. The current it will create will be too strong in that tank.

3 Fx5s for a 29 gallon tank? You are out of your mind. FYI!!!

1800 GPH in a 29 Gallon tank. 20 cycles per hour. You don't think 10 is enough? You could get away with 3-5 in a 29 gallon.

Filtration is only as good as you set it up to be. 3 Fx5s will NOT clean the water any better than ONE Fx5. Why? Well assuming you still only have course sponge with bio media, each filter will filter down to a certain sized particle and each filter will be the same..

I have a (one) Fluval 304 on my 29 Gallon and the water is crystal clear.
