Fx5 on my 150g

Okay so Xmas is around the corner and Ive been wanting to get a couple filters for my 55g and my 150g, but then I just had a lightbulb turn on lol. I was wondering if 1 Fx5 would be okay running on my 150g with my emp 400, so I can take my eheim 2217 out of my 150g and put it on my 55g with an emp 400. Would this be okay? Or would you recommend a different filter?

Should be okay, I ran a 40g sump.and a FX5 on a 80g. But I had 75+ temenesis pbass

The only fish that are in my 150g are an oscar, an eclipse catfish and a Lima catfish, so I figured it would be ok, I was just making sure if it would or not.

I dont have enough room for a sump, and I cant drill holes in my tank now, that and I dont no how and I dont want to break it. But thank you

FX5 will be fine...I have one on my 120g and it keeps my tank beautiful. I clean it every couple of months and have had no problems.

I support this plan. Over filtered (whatever that means) on both tanks and backups on both tanks.

I agree 100%. I was anti-sump until I bought a 220 off CL that came with one. Now I have one on everything 55g and up. Sump+cannister=sparkling water and happy fishies!

OP your setup will be perfectly fine, keep us posted if you do get the FX5. I love reading reviews and seeing installs!
