i have it all thaught out just haven't come around to it but prob this weekend I will head over to the depo to come up with something I just like the idea of having extra bio filtration one last time before it gets sprayed evenly just a thaught I'll keep you guys posted.

could just make a giant spraybar that goes across the entire back of your tank using flexible PVC that's black in color.
I've got mine on a 180 and the fish don't seem to be too bothered by it, but they're all CA's...I think the idea of spreading the flow over the entire tank rather than trying to reroute the output into a sump is a better idea.
Keep in mind there is no bypass for the pump on these canisters, so if you do somthing screwy to add extra strain on the pump it has a chance of burning out.
