biomax kinda suck for bio media just because it kinda dissolves overtime. but for pot scrubbers they hold up pretty well. no little bits and pieces breaking away like it does from those biomax ceramic rings and other such similar products.
opps, i meant the biomax that comes with other fluvals like 405 and such, that stuff kinda sucks. the biomax bought by itself is good. my bad on giving wrong info. correct me if i'm wrong again.
